I played the farm simulator for a while....

I actually thought of buying farm simulator. Might do when it's on sale next.

But I don't have enough time to play all the games anyway :(

Dead serious, shame it doesn't support Linux otherwise I would be all over it.
The next big Linux Steam release sounds like being CS : GO, hopefully a couple of weeks.

Finally got round to finishing off New Vegas.

So have you guys seen any of the steam streaming beta yet?

Looks freaking awesome and could really pave the way for a dominance of PC gaming in the living room.

I love the fact people have their gaming pc in another room and are using macbooks to steam to the tv. I wonder how long it will be before someone makes something for the raspberry pi that can stream steam.

I signed up for it, although a bit late in the day so no sign of an invite yet.

I'm proper excited by the prospect of being able to run games from my PC on the living room TV. Have powerline ethernet and an i7 laptop which should hopefully do a decent job.

From what I've seen the quality seems to be great even on modest white macbooks.

The biggest factor seems to be input lag (not so important on single player games) and the graphics card of the computer powering the stream.

But the fact I might have to buy a new graphics card for a pc I can game on in the living room is fine with me :)

Middle Earth - Shadow of Mordor

Looks like the Batman games with a LOTR skin.

Yeah, I kinda thought that about the combat. I'm happy about that though, the Batman games are good and I like all things LOTR, more blood and guts too. I quite like whatever it is they're doing with the domination type stuff and getting followers. If the nemesis enemies thing works and doesn't just spit out half arsed bad guys then it'll be a cool feature and would probably add a lot to replay.

Sadly I'm not convinced. Kinda Assassins Creed/Tomb Raider in Middle Earth...

Actually it's maybe more assassins creed crossed with batman and an orc giving them a reacharound.

I'm not buying it. Gimme a good new Tolkien MMO and I'll even buy a new desktop to run it!
