Wouldn't worry, with the standard attrition rate all the reserve list will get on the ride. Especially if you're flexible enough, and attentive enough, to fill in for people who drop out on the day of the ride.

^This is probably true...

If I were a real chancer I'd probably turn up on the day anyway, even if the observatory visit is full I'm sure a few additionals tagging along for the ride round town wouldn't be a huge issue.

The ride around town with narration is free to all. Though I'd rather say goodbye to those not visiting Mill Hill while still in town...
