They use different sized bolts from Shimano, specifically the upper pulley uses an M4 bolt. You can use Shimano compatible pulleys, it seems like they would flap about due to the 4mm bolt going through a 5mm hole but once it's all tightened up it's not a problem. If you're a real tart, you can put a bushing in there to take up the slack.
