What's the difference between them and mju?

MJU is the same camera it was just named Stylus Epic for the North American market.

The xa2 only takes one battery btw, it doesn't have a separate battery for the flash.

It most definitely has two batteries, the camera takes a button cell LR44 or similar and the flash takes 1xAA battery. You may be mistaking the A11(the one I have) flash with the A1L which had a built in, non replaceable battery.
