Run into a problem .... My rims are silver but my hubs are black....
So should that be silver spokes or black spokes?

You need to change rims or hubs.
Not matching just isn't right.

I had the same headache... if I could have afforded H Son Plus R14 I would have happily gone for grey rims on polished hubs. In the end I opted for silver Ambrosio Evolution rims on Condor's Uno hubs - silver on silver.

I've got blue-grey Ultegra hubs, silver spokes and grey anodized rims- although the winter has made short work of the braking surface which is now silver.
I think they look great.

I have black CK hubs, silver Sapim spokes and silver TB14s. It's fine. The black hubs are balanced out by the tyres. The rear hub is covered by the cassette anyway.
Here's what they look like (sans cassette)

Decided on 'Midnight Blue' in the END.
The fillet brazing is so darn smooth - I almost wanna lick it.
Mocked Up!
Saddle will probably be set a little lower - And I'll need a -10 deg stem (This one is -6.
Looking good though - This will likely be the last 'Old Fashioned' Talbot that Matt will make - No silly headtube or "BB89x2 whatever" bottom bracket shell. No frills - Just thrills.

is that a two bolt 26 clamp ritchey?
-
• #39
The bar and stem are the ritchey Classic pair.
I will likely go for a -10 stem as this is -6
Stem is 110mm / 24cm width bar - Will be up in classifieds soon (£25 the pair)

Do you need one? I have a black, 26mm clamp -17º 120mm 1 1/8 ritchey 2 bolt... was on my ron cooper lo pro but it is about 20mm too long.
