  • Sorry for bumping this from the dead, does anyone have any recommendations for a wet shave other than Trumpers and Golden Scissors?

As much as I'd like to go to Trumpers I don't have £38 to spend on removing facial hair.

  • Anywhere that there's a huge Turkish community. Lord knows that the women are almost as hairy as the men. There'll be some good ones on Green Lanes.

  • ^this.

If not try Edgware Road or Praed Street.

  • ^This. Efes got taken over by Ted Baker so it looks like Dalston is your best bet.

  • Also, more central (not sure if it's a straight razor or not)

  • Going to buy a new beard trimmer thing, so thought I'd bump this thread.

Thinking of going for this unless anyone else has any better choices?

  • Wahl Sterling 2 Plus is the Rolls Royce of beard trimmers. All the rest are shit. These are rechargeable, cut rather than rip the hairs out and are narrow enough to get into that little dip round your adams apple where your beard goes all swirly.

  • I use my 15 year old Wahl Pro Clip... No problems...

  • Apart from the cord... is yours cordless?

  • It comes with a knuckle duster, it's gotta be good! bit more than I was thinking but get good reviews.

    cheers
