Garmins are definitely more accurate than phones - my mobile is very generous with distances and therefore speeds, which is great if I want to feel good about myself but not so great if I want, y'know, the truth.
I just got home from an extremely windy 10 miles, why I thought it would be nice to run along the river I really don't know. I look and feel like I've got a few rounds and there are a lot of cobbles on the Thames Path, which aren't nice in the wet. Still, I ate beforehand (tea and toast) and had 2 gels en route and some of that protein recovery stuff you put in milk when I got home, and don't feel hungry or broken as a result. See, I'm learning!!
Anyway, the big question of the day is: what face did Dammit pull for the race photographer??
