Be aware: That adapter is intended for a fixed cog - not a bmx freewheel. all this means is there is less thread to screw the freewheel onto than is 'wise' - it will still work though - just. The chain set is junk - the rings are not removable

Yes i had thought of that. Are there any freewheels that arent as wide or are they all the same width?
And yes will duly bin them, hopefully will be able to use Howard's cranks.
