Car appreciation... the aesthetics, the engineering, etc

Oh, and in breaking news, it appears that I'm about to have one of these bad boys foisted upon me.

Well, foisted upon the local Morris Minor specialists. It hasn't run for at least 10 years, and did a tolerable impression of a boat when the garage it was in got flooded many years ago. I'm thinking Stage 2 1340 A-Series, a BGH Type 9 box, front disc brakes and telescopic dampers all round.

Morris Travellers are lovely. Presumably you've seen the Wheeler Dealers where one gets almost completely rebuilt. Seems easy when Ed China does it!
Not sure Id bother with a highly strung tuned A series when you can fit something much better under that bonnet though
