that's what the ferrules I was asking about are for.. I need two for the toptube internal routing, and one for the rear derailleur...

those dropouts....

Curious. I've used a step-down ferrule for the RD, but never seen one needed on a top tube.

Having said that, I've just checked mine and they're obviously intended for brake cables, which shows what I know.

Spent some considerable time going through these pages/bikes/frames and many float my boat and are truly wanking material!
