You clearly have no idea how to spin. 18mph and your cadence is 60rpm. Grannies on shopper bikes would be able to out accelerate you at lights.
I don't really want to have an easy commute. Due to living in Brighton my whole ride is uninterrupted by lights, cars and such. It's basically a mash from house to work along the seafront, so I usually try to average 22+. Not the greatest setup to step outside of Brighton but it's not too hard to grab a few more cogs. I'm not one to flapping my legs at top speed because I wan't to look good off the lights...
