For Sale: 60/90mm deep carbon track wheels (tubs)

Whenever anyone sells a pair of carbon wheels (here, eBay, Weight Weenies etc etc) they always say that they've done "no more than 500 miles".

Well, I'm afraid that these have gone a bit further than that- 3,057 miles according to my records (aka Strava).

They were built by Hillbilly, then serviced by Sam of LMNH about 1,500 miles ago and have needed no attention since then.

The hubs are Novatec track, 20/24, Sapim laser spokes, matte 3K weave, basalt brake track on the front 60mm rim- which gives great braking even in the pouring rain, but annihilates brake pads (I'll include 2 pairs of blue pads with the wheels).

The front tub has 3,000 miles on it, the rear has 1,500, both are Continental Sprinter Gatorskins.

Both have been dosed with Continental Revo sealant and (since then) have never let me (or themselves) down.

With tubs, but without sprocket, including a couple of pairs of pads, £300 collected from Forest Hill.

fair play for the mileage honesty!! 3000miles shouldnt be a lot for some well built wheels!

maybe is 6000 miles we will never know ;-)

I promise the mileage is accurate, I also promise that they're in great condition- if I put fresh tubs on these they'd more than pass the standard "less than 500 miles, honest guv" inspection.

I'm going to be away from this Friday for a week, if anyone wants a look at these then tomorrow night is the only time I'm going to be available until the end of Jan.

I have two brand new Conti sprinter gatorskins which I can mount on these if the buyer wants- wheelset cost with brand new tubs glued on would be £400.
