"Oh Shit" moments...

^^ Classic case of stupidity, me thinks.

So I managed the latter but slowed right down. Even had a slightly odd bit of discourse with these death wish Dorises:

Me: Are you mental??!!
Woman 1: Who's mental?
Me: You're mental. Use a crossing!
Woman 2: You're mental!
All women: Raucous laughter and tongue clicking

Just realised this is a bit CSB and tl;dr, oops, sorry. :/

Anyway, I've always found it strange how many people laugh in the face of perceived threat/danger.

It's very rare for people to apologize for being Right Galvanized Twats, whether they are in the car, on foot or on bikes. I've had about 2 apologies, one from a driver who didn't see me (despite very bright cycle light) and one Suicidal Pedestrian Class 2 (emergency stop, 1 meter left). The others ones drove/walked off, gave lip etc...

Usually you get aggro. So I don't bother engaging anymore. Bad parenting is of course to blame. (goes off to Daily Fail site)
