Are torque wrenches worth it?

  • My bars were actually quite nice and very light. Very good, aero and ergonomic, but not made of carbon fibre and shouldn't be advertised as ones.

  • I bought the torque wrench to get that extra accuracy in my bike setup.

    I tried it last night for the first time (just after my evening ride).

    See below the resutls

    This is the derailleur hanger bolt from Campagnolo Chorus 10sp rear derailleur.

    I have replaced the broken bolt with the hanger bolt of my Campagnolo Record 9 sp RD but as you would expect the movement is not as fluent. I will test ride it tonight.

    But how is that for a first go at a torque wrench!!!
