Was supposed to do 14miles today but ground to a halt outside my house after an error in route planning with 1km left to finish. Felt fine 5mins after stopping. Absolutely kicking myself for not finishing properly :(
Was happy with my pace 5.36min/km - not quite as fast as my half marathons last year but at least my feet aren't a bloody mess and my knees don't feel like they're being battered with cricket bats, so that's something I suppose.
On the subject of bags, I wore my Osprey Viper 5 today with the bladder half full. Fit is excellent with no bounce after some adjustment on the move. Either the shoulder straps or my neck could do with being a few mm narrower as there's a little chafing but nothing too awful. If I could run my commute I'd happily get a
bigger Osprey. But as has been said, don't take my word, go try everything on!
