How old are they? If they are young and healthy then I think they would be fine if you can afford to do all the passport and other things. I heard they are expensive. 2 years is a long time, I think by the time you come back, they would have gotten used to the new / forster family and it might not be in their best interest to have to keep changing families. You know cats don't like changes. I personally would take them with me if I could afford it, or if they are too old or if I can't afford the take them then I would make sure I find them a new and good forever home best I can. Preferably friends or family? It's a tough choice, dogs are easier in situations like this, I think. (not with the flying, but getting used to different people.)
