I'm sure DHL or FedEx have depots all over world, right?
they do. and you can even check out that DHL will charge 60€ for the package will have to be sent as BULKY ...
the fact that it is quite easy and not that expensive to send whole bikes from UK to the rest of Europe or around the world does not mean the same vice versa. try to go to a TNT counter in the Netherlands and have your bike-box sent abroad ... it's not possible there and you have to have an account with a courier like GLS or sth ... you'll get nuts!
... but that is just my experience. everybody has its own ...
If I had the money to buy this I would expect it to be sent insured and really, I mean really really well packed ... I believe that's what the guys are talking about when charging 100€. -

Thank fuck I can't afford this.
It's fucking great.
Does the fork actually work with a brake? It doesn't look like there's enough clearance.

he never tried it, but we think it will not work without polishing the brake arms (where the brake pads are fixed).

I have an equally tight clearance on my bike and the only brake that worked out was the good old Aero Gran Compe (http://www.yellowjersey.org/agc.html)

I checked out this frame about 4-5 years ago when it was available on Gumtree in London. Sadly it was too big for me, but the frame was a beaut. The price was quite a bit cheaper back then, but there has been a Columbus Max mark-up over the last few years....

600gbp are actually 721euros.
however, the frame is worth what the new owner has to buy for it or wants to invest for it. -

also, there is always space for price negotiation
-

most people bitching about the price wouldn't even pay 1000 euros for it so let the guy sell his bike. if you're really interested make him an offer on private.
