That and all unicode stuff (the snowman!) is now fixed and should be working
in general: what new features will classified have compared to lfgss now, if any?
We've only focused on the event type and conversation type for launch. The event type is something that doesn't exist on forums today and we wanted to show how it works and what is possible.
Classifieds are going to be similar in that they will do what you expect them to do.
What I mean by this is:
1) In the Microcosm listing, where you see the event date and place, expect to see the item price, status (sold, not sold) and some properties (size, colour).
2) In the advert, expect to be able to add properties as key:value pairs much like attributes on Flickr images... ctc:60cm wheels:700c colour:blue
3) Expect properties to be searchable.
4) Expect adverts to be comparable
5) Expect to be able to search through unsold classifieds
We eventually also want to add payment facilitation and alerts, etc. Basic stuff.
Where events tries to give the experience you might expect if you use lots of sites that have dedicated event calendars... classifieds are going to try and give the experience you might expect if you have used lots of classifieds sites.
Our goal is a very intuitive, simple, predictable, and very active marketplace.
