I run these on my TT bike
pretty damn good wheels for the cost.
I am 12st if that helps anyone gauge weight usage
-
• #8
Would take the rear if somebody was willing to take the front like. Only if this is kosher with Guy of course.

Sweet set of wheels. Would if I had the cheddar

Hey folks,
I would really like to sell them as a pair.
Thanks 'TheCatsFlap' im rather fond of this bike.
Just a little update;
I've weighed the wheel set this morning at 1700g with rim tape but no skewers etc...
Just to confirm the specs;
Rims- Full carbon clinchers, 27mm wide 56mm deep with basalt braking surface and a matte carbon finish. Very similar to Zipp 404 in shape.
Hubs- Novatec F482 rear shimano freehub 8/9/10speed, A291 front
Spokes- Bladed with external alloy nipples, 20h front radial and 24h rear 2x drive side and radial non-drive side
As you can see these wheels are in nearly perfect condition.
If you have any questions please ask.
Thanks again

nice venge! wrong size for you but oh well :p Still got the cannondale?
-
• #13
The size is kinda close. But no the Caad10 gave its parts to this, that one really didn't fit!?
-
• #14
How is it the wrong size? It looks like he likes to have a large saddle to bar drop (no headset spacers), which a larger size frame wouldn't accommodate.
-
• #15
Yeah, don't understand people debating the fit, fit looks good, a fair bit of post, but hey ho it's a compact frame... Looks fast!
130mm (?) stem is what it should be.
-
• #16
Do they fit in your venge frame ok?
Is it a bit tight? -
• #17
How is it the wrong size?
sorry, inside joke
-
• #18
Yeah its an on going joke, but looking pro is all that matters right? Yeah its a 130mm in that picture but has a 120mm on now.
Yes 'pullingteth' they fit perfectly in the Venge frame.

I might be interested in the front...
-
• #20
Ah good stuff, as I say I'm hot to trot.
-
• #21
Ahh ok then 'redmax' if you want the front then i guess that all works out. Im thinking £150 front and £175 rear. But what do you guys think?

I've replied to your PM
I can confirm within the next week after I have my pay clarified at work -

Hi folks,
The full wheelset is now available again or just the front wheel as Mr Jambon is still interested in the rear.

Any idea if those Novatecs can be converted to 11speed Shimano-fit?
-
• #25
Hi 'Mechamorgan'
Im not totally sure if these hubs can be converted? I know they make an 11 speed version, but im not sure what differs? Whether it is just the freehub body or possibly the entire hub might be different?
Guy
Hi Folks,
Im selling my posh summer wheels. As i need money and im not riding these currently.
These are Chinese full wheels bought from Carbonzone last summer.
They are the 27mm wide 56mm deep rims, so very similar to Zipp 404's in shape. Laced to Novatec hubs using bladed spokes and alloy nipples. Shimano/Sram free-hub. They come with skewers and a set of carbon brake pads, but no tyres, cassette or sick Venge.
They have only seen very light use last summer, about 3-400miles all in the dry.
I will get some better pictures at the weekend.
These cost well over £400 after the crazy import taxes!!
Im looking for £325 plus postage, or you are welcome to collect them from Tamworth just north of birmingham
