I'm wondering whether the Mistral Pista chainset/rings actually exists, or whether it was just a road groupset, in which case you'll only find 3/32" rings. This is not a problem as they run perfectly well with 1/8" chains and sprockets

was thinking I could send that off to somebody and get them to copy it to make a track version.

Highpath used to make custom chainrings, tester would probably be able to recommend someone too
