Fuck kaepernick.
I hate him.
-
• #403
Ah well.
At least it gives me my evenings back.
-
• #404
Booooooom!

I almost died watching the niners game. I am for sure on the wrong side of the "sports are a fun distraction/sports are misery" coin. At least where SF Baseball Giants or 49ers are concerned.

bet this comes down to a Kaepernick run. Which is like cheating in my book. Unless Russell Wilson does it.
this.

So Divisional Round Predos:
Seahawks vs Saints. Seahawks to win easily.
Colts vs Patriots is a really tough one to call, even if one team goes ahead, you can't rule out a comeback, based on recent form. I'll go with Patriots sneaking it.
49ers vs Panthers. I've been looking forward to this all week, my team against my favourite team to watch all season. Really not sure which way to call it, but I've got to go for a 49ers win.
Chargers vs Broncos. Broncos to win. -

Wow, Saints throwing this away. 8 points down with 4 minutes to go, 31 yards from the line. 4th down, elect to kick 48 yards into the wind.
Of course they miss, but even if they hadn't how would being 5 points down help them at all...
It's been a pretty boring game, very good defence.
Crazy decision

I am thanking the saints for not winning this. We are relying too much on our (admit idly awesome) defence.

touchdown!!!

• #411
Well, that's this game done. Well done Seattle. I'm looking forward to next week's game, against 49ers or Panthers, should be a good one.

• #412
squeaky bum time...
-
• #413
What the hell was that, why didn't he go out of bounds. Surely he must know he can't throw it forwards? Bizarre...
-
• #414
thank fuck for 10 second run off's.....
-
• #415
Bizarrely but unsurprisingly Bodeans Claphsm are not showing the playoffs tonight. Does anywhere know a venue around crystal palace/brixton/Clapham area that shows gridiron?

Panthers giving away a lot of penalties here, pretty much all SF right now. I'm hoping it stays this way.
-
• #417
as a hawks fan I'm gonna say go panthers. (usually the kiss of death of a team).
-
• #418
Newton is looking great. But risking injury with all the hits he's taking, Kaepernick is usually a bit more careful about that.

For a second I thought I was going to have to watch those horrible two tone half matte-black helmets. I was relieved that I had my east-coast-big-cat teams mixed up. Sparkly panther helmets much more acceptable.
Would rather the 9-bros were facing the Jag's offence though.

in case you missed the sweet fadez of the Jacksonville Jaguars's helmets.
-
• #421
Sweet.
I guess they are doing that because of the new rules that you can't change helmets when you change from home to alternative jersey (for safety, I guess having a helmet bedded in, is better?)
-
• #422
They should wear them backwards when they are away.
-
• #423
Lucky newton!
-
• #424
Very lucky Newton. However, that wasn't lucky Newton. HA
-
• #425
Well thank fuck for that. I wish I coulda watched it tho.
and there it is
