You'll be able to lean in more before you get pedal strike if you run spd instead of flats. That said, if you decide to stay with flats,with time you'll learn how much you can lean in. Used to get quite a lot of pedal strike when I initially switched to 175 cranks on the pomp but just adapted my game around it and it became a non issue.
