Nope, but have looked at them. Website says the Fixed shoes fit about half a size smaller than normal though, so I guess it depends how tight they are...

They soften up and once they've done so they are just lovely to wear. You can keep them on all day.
Plus they look extraordinarily nice.Buy toeclips with the leather covering, because those toes are soft, and will scuff up very quickly.

Thanks, have them on now and they seem to be loosening up all the time.

So the ones that look most like they'd take a cleat ('Fixed'), don't take a cleat?

They're pretty narrow.

While the QP shoes are great for riding I mistakenly rode to Euston in them, left my bike at the station and went to birmingham wearing, them walking and standing for a day and half. Not a good idea, both feet got blistered on my heels. It was such a relief getting back to London and on my bike where I felt no pain. Still can't walk in them though

I have the same problem, fantastic not only for cycling but audax, touring and the like.
Then when I start walking my heel rubs really badly on the back of the shoes.
Going to take them to a cobbler to get the soles changed for a gripper one as I got the original one (new one is much better and stiffer).

So it turns out I have fat feet.
I've only had these since November. I now realise that getting them on in a rush was a bad idea.
Do i take it to a cobbler to bodge it back together, or do I send back to QP?

Talk to QP as soon as you can, look like a defect.

Fucking this. Sunsets, beards and 'creatives'.
Like an edgy Richard Curtis production.

This^ initially for the first month or so. Now however after 8 months they have soften up and I can wear them all day with comfort. I use Dubbin weekly which keeps the waterproof and the leather soft and supple

To any wide-footed QP wearers out there, how many sizes up did you have to go? I should take their 45 according to the sizing chart, but I have fairly wide feet.
-
• #24
I think mine was the same size (43), the leather break in a bit and eventually gotten comfortable, I also have wide feet which the shoes bind my feet a little when new.

Having been riding around with these (the 'fixed' model) for a week, thought I'd add my first impressions to the pile.
They are very well made, and the leather is nice and soft. As Ed explained above, you should be okay even with the kind of large, flat feet I have as long as you follow the online size charts (for reference, their 45 fits my size 10 feet well). They take about a day to stretch a little then feel very comfortable.
The sole is extremely stiff and shaped much like that of a modern road shoe despite the lack of a cleat. This is obviously beneficial when desperately mashing at the pedals on a hill but does mean they're not exactly a shoe for wearing all day, although if your workday involves nothing more strenuous than the odd trip to the coffee machine they should pass muster. Note that anyone hoping to use these with flat pedals should think twice as I expect they would slip fairly easily.
All in all I like them. A bit pricey but you do get something well put together, if you can handle the idea of a shoe without any cleat fitting ability whatsoever.
PS. Your toe clips will scuff the leather on the toes within microseconds, but you knew that and bought some leather covered clips, didn't you?
Anybody else have a pair of these www.quocpham.com/ I have just bought a fixed pair. Upon first try they felt very tight,(I have the largest size they make) but am wondering whether I should persevere and if the soft leather will stretch. They look great!
