Don't spend too long pondering, fresh blanks have arrived ahead of schedule, so I'm looking to take them to the engraver on Monday
Today's top tip for reducing production waste:
Instead of handing the machinist more than enough material and asking for n finished products, hand him a length of bar and tell him you'll pay the same unit cost for however many he can get out of it. First batch took about 10mm of bar stock each, this lot took <9mm :-)
