Looked at this earlier today.
Had I not bought something on e-bay over breakfast, would have ripped your arm off. Might come and have a look anyway, as you are local to work.
In the meantime, have a bump.

My size, but just finished something similar. Very nice, looked at pictures of this build for ideas when I was shopping a couple of months back.

Go for it Jingle Jangle. You know it makes sense, and there has to be some detritus in that shed of yours to fund it... GLWS Matthew

Which frame did you go with?

I met Jake at your shop and talked to him about building me something, but in the end I found a second hand Roberts audax compact in 853 pro team in my size. The savings were too big to resist, and the frame was near new. There are some pictures and a projects thread here if you want to see

I still sorta regret not having something built for me, but maybe next time. I really liked the frame you are selling here. Maybe Jingle Jangle will buy it and hold it for me for later ....
btw liking that stainless and blue frame you have on the go now...

Sadly the frowny face at the end of my post represents my lack of available funds...

I have just dropped the price from £685 to £550. This is what the paint alone cost me!
The frame and fork new would be around the £1800+ mark, it has hardly been ridden

I presume so. Tom at Balfes was building it up for a customer when I stopped by earlier. 11spd Ultegra and some pretty Zipp bits.

thank you, will do mate!
SOLD ON THE 16/1
For sale is a Saffron Frameworks credit card/light tourer, designed for use with a Carradiace-style saddlebag support. It's one of my personal bikes. The frame has only done a couple of hundred miles which has resulted in a few minor cosmetic markets on the paint. Reason for selling is it is not really ridden and the money will be going towards more frame building equipment.
For sale is the frame and fork complete with a Campag headset. New price is £550, and i am selling it with a 10 year guarantee.
**I have just dropped the price from £685 to £550. This is what the paint alone cost me!
