I took a drive out to Beckton in the end. Traffic was virtually non-existent.
The World's Best stuff is accurately named.
It's made from sweetcorn kernels and is very easy on the cat's paws. It's completely biodegradeable and can be flushed down the lavatory. I keep the litterbox next to the loo.
It clumps into really easy to scoop 'piss-cakes' which you can just scoop out and flush. Because of this it never smells and lasts for ages because you never need to throw it out, just top it up and clean the litterbox itself every few weeks.
