My hard drive failed on my Macbook Pro. I took it to Apple and they replaced it as it was still under warranty, but they couldn't retrieve anything from the hard drive.
Has anyone successfully recovered data from a failed hard drive? If so what did you do? Or what companies are best for this kind of thing? Apple recommended Ontrack but looks to be very £££...
