I'm not familiar with period bikes, but the last picture is intriguing.
Seems to use 28 ish tubulars?
Lots of rub inside the drive side stay?
What's with the eyelet at the bottom of the fork, and the mini mudguard?
Bumpy and potentially muddy race?
Not that day, unless he has showered/ changed /cleaned his bike.
