You did a Wherry clone, didn't you?
You could try a different kit - St Peter's Ruby Red Ale is reckoned to be good.
Or you could try tweaking a kit - adding extra spraymalt, hop tea, dry-hopping etc.
Or you could just stop faffing around with the kids' stuff and do an all-grain brew ;-)

All grain? Interesting. Tell me more... Where do you get the ingredients?

Also, how do you clear your beer? Mine has lots and lots of cloudy sediment and floating yeast clumps.
