Upping a bit old thread but...
I have a Miche Primato crankset, bought it used from a friend in June 2013. He said it's JIS but I'm not so sure anymore. The drivetrain kept some noise during driving season, could be just chain + rear cog too.
The only markings on crankarms are "170 1109". Any idea what the 1109 could mean? Aluminium type? Should they be marked "JIS", as some people here say their cranks are? Are ISO cranks marked?
I have been riding them on JIS BB so far.
