my jewler friend ceramicises rolexs, metal straps are a bit ov a bugger as the ceramic finish can make them thicker, causing strap stiffness
he had a gold one with a mad emerald and got the work from Garrard as they refused to do it to a Rolex, so he now gets a fair bit of custom work
