I also home made a key carry, after too many holes started appearing in all my trousers/legs. Just made from a piece of aluminium I had hanging around and a bolt from an old photo album. I drilled the keys to 5mm hole diameter and took off some off the excess plastic, nothing too fancy, but works for now!

I've also recently purchased one from kickstarter, yet to arrive but I'm hoping it'll do the job. (With extra crabon!)
