Started watching Lilyhammer on netflix over christmas. Fucking awesome.
Steven van zandt always struck me as being too caricature when he played a mobster in the soprano's but in this he's perfect as it's a lot less serious take on things.
I like how they don't bother dragging out the story arcs either, some shows one thing will happen to the main character and then he'll spend 4 shows agonising over it, in lilyhammer if there's a problem, someone gets thrown off a ski slope, problem solved.
the supporting character torgeir is very well written/acted too.
