I fully hear you there bro. But there's a big difference between 'better' steel and old steel, and 'better' steel and carbon. *I guess the introduction of two different records solves this, and so none of these silly debates (much like this one) are had over fairness.
Although, I do agree that these issues could only have been solved with the introduction of carbon technologies, which didn't happen till relatively recently.
