  • Being off work around christmas is great, get to catch up with lots of movies I missed during the year or re-watching ones I liked. Also see the old christmas classics, ala Die Hard, Star Wars and Indiana Jones. Plus had time to catch a couple at the cinema too.

Oblivion : Still rate this movie, re-watching after 6 months and I still enjoyed it as much as the first time in the cinema.

The Lone Ranger : This was really good, way better than I was expecting. Depp was not annoying like I thought he was going to be. Well acted all round, wish I had seen it in the cinema.

The Last Stand : Arnie's first movie post-political career. Not terrible or amazing, just a typical action yarn.

We're the Millers : Another good comedy I missed earlier in the year, not amazing by any means but funny and pushes all the right buttons.

Pain and Gain : A totally bonkers story, which is true. Hilarious worth watching.

Anchorman 2 : Not as good as the first one, but still enjoyable, got a bit too serious towards the end.

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty : I am a sucker for this kind of stuff, so I really enjoyed it. Highly recommended.

I still can't bring myself to go see Hobbit 2. The Great Gatsby, Rush and Prisoners are up next, might go check out 47 Ronin.
