Right, this might seem really obvious to most of you, but as I've never had a bike with internal cable routing, or been allowed to play with one that has, I don't know if the cable outers stop as they enter the frame.
Basically, I want to know if the full distance of the cable within a steel frame is run in a conventional outer, or is it terminated as it enters and leaves the frame and run in a nice clean tube within, with minimal to no friction?
