Screw for Shimano Flightdeck Shifter

Posted on
  • I've lost the screw that secures the cover in place for the shimano ultegra shifters. It's a real tiny screw and I'm not sure of the size.

Any ideas on where I can find a replacement, and for as cheap as possible?

    Thanks

  • Hi, I've got Tiagra's but if it's any help the cover on my 10 speed shifter is held on by two small cross head countersunk chrome screws, 5mm long, 1mm diam, thread too short to measure, head 4mm diam. Also checked my old Tiagra 9 speed as that says flightdeck on it, but cover is not screwed on, probably glued which may be an option if you can't find screws.

  • Oh yes, somewhere like Maplin will probably sell the right kind of thing.

  • Nice one - thanks guys. Dallas these screws you're describing sound like the one I have in my hand from the other shifter.
