There will be pix of the etching when I get the sample. Basically they use a death ray to selectively vaporise the dye which makes the anodised parts black, so you end up with silver marks on a black (or other colour, as they can do it on any colour anodised parts) background.
I've italicised your text on my spreadsheet, not anticipating any problem getting it done.
