it's the same bike. the top one is an attempt from my part to mimic the catalog picture from the 80's.

as i understand the bike just for decoration. also i am going to use the DIY on a fixed gear so no brake anyway

Should be fine to ride, but would be a bitch to true if you managed to get it out of true.

I think this aproach lends itself really well to commemerating some of the more outlandish designs.. Would love to see a lotus..
