1t difference is quite big with a rear cog than a front chainring, put 47/18 on to see how you get on with it, or change the chainring for a 44t one (unless your rear cog have seen some action, replace both).
I'm currently on 45/18 which is a tiny bit bigger than 47/19 (66 vs. 65.3 w/ 25mm), perfect for London but did spun out with a tailwind in the Surrey commute.
