• Hi all.
When I came to visit my hometown I met some cyclist I know since always. He's an elderly guy, used to race on pro level in 60's and 70's, now he's running a little workshop and half-time working on gas station. He asked me if I could sell the bike on his behalf, that his wife used do ride.

    So,
Frame is 53cm seattube and toptube columbus aelle baby blue Mondial. Gipiemme headset.
    BB is italian threaded.
Seatpost is 26.4 something, saddle is Mondial - branded ISCA.
    Stem is panto'd 90mm 3ttt. Handlebar is 3ttt mod. competizione, also panto'd.
Brake levers and brakes - modolo, however hodds are some pinky ones.
Drivetrain - Gipiemme Dual Sprint crankset with panto'd rings (52/42). RD, FD and shifters are Simplex-made Gipiemme.
    No pedals.
    Wheels:
Front: Gipiemme dual sprint hub x mavic speciale sport x some unknown tubular
Rear: Gipiemme dual sprint hub x something eyeletted x conti clincher
    So, what are the issues?

    1. Left crank is missing gipiemme dustcap
    2. Seatpost has seen better days.
    3. Shifters are plastic, so left one has cracked and doesn't seem to be able to work - the spring in it isn't pushed/pulled- I have no workshop capacity at my parents house, so I can't tell for sure.

Included is beautiful Silica Impera frame pump.
Having changed the shifters you'll get awesome bike for your lady, perfect for L'Eroica.
Price is 365 GBP shipped from Poland.

    Yes.

    Campagnolo tubing

  • Forgot to mention - campagnolo dropouts with adjuster screws.

  • Bump - I need this baby to go so I tracked down Gian Robert shifters (which could use some elbow grease, but are better than plastic simplex gipiemme branded ones anyway and still italian).
