I'm pretty sure expert witnesses are registered. A quick Google search seems to confirm this.
There are quite a few specialising in road traffic collisions and accidents.
Your solicitor will have an understanding of how the system works. -

John Franklin, Cyclecraft author, gets called as an expert witness on occasion.
I have been asked to submit written evidence about how cyclists use Vauxhaul Bridge to a court which I gather, helped the injured woman win her claim. -

Yes, John is probably the most experienced, to the best of my knowledge. If he thought that you had made a mistake of some kind, he would be quite clear about this, too, however.

Whats his number?
Just got a letter from CPS explaining their decision not to prosecute the driver.
They explain that although the CCTV shows the driver hitting me and the sole witness claiming they were driving erratically and to blame for the accident.. there was 'not enough evidence to prosecute' they then mention that I am 'in the middle of the road' and nearly struck by other vehicles (no idea which ones they are talking about)How do I appeal a CPS decision?
Do I have the right to the results of breath test on the driver?
I was involved in a road traffic accident of which there is CCTV footage that clearly shows the other driver is at fault.
Due to the fact I was hoping to avoid an accident by making myself as visible as possible I am taking a dominate road position - the footage somewhat further exaggerates this due to the angle.
With the possibility the case will end up in court (criminal & civil)
I am worried that it maybe argued that I was behaving recklessly - although infact the opposite is true.
Are cycletrainers ever known to act as expert witnesses in such cases?
How would I go about securing ones services for this?
