I told him before he bought the bike there was a few little bits that may need addressing however overall it was good.
my point is that what you say clearly isn't consistent. he didn't look the bike over when he bought it (maybe) but you sold him a dodgy bike without explaining what exactly was wrong with it (i.e. you let him take it without looking it over properly). either way, considering what has gone on previously, i don't think you're very trustworthy. just my opinion.
