Is it worth building budget commuting SS wheelset with them? Is it bad that they are cup and cone bearing hubs?
Paid just under £10 for them (including shipping).

    Here's auction description from seller:
"Miche Team Magnum Hub Set. 32 Hole; 100mm front, 130mm rear.
These are the older Magnum Team Hubs and are compatible with Miche & Campagnolo Cassettes, 7, 8, & 9 speed. I'm not sure about 10-speed.
SHIMANO CASSETTES WILL NOT FIT THIS REAR HUB.
These are cup and cone bearing hubs. The free hub has a grease/oil hole and feels nice quality. They are strong.
The front hub is new and has never been built into a wheel. The rear has been built into a wheel but never ridden.
Both hubs are 32 spoke. Front spacing is 100mm, rear spacing is 130mm.
They will make a good training / winter wheel set for someone.

  • just look like cheap road hubs, are you building the wheels yourself? Prob worth it with some budget rims. If your paying someone to build them, probably not!

Also, you will need to find a campag compatible SS conversion kit

I wouldn't be building them myself because I don't have neither skills or tools for that. Luckily that kind of work is cheaper where I am.

Yep I understant that and was already looking for one. This looks alright.
