Have you considered/would you consider adding some MOLLE (or PLCE I guess) strips a la http://www.karrimorsf.com/predator/item/140-predator-30-lightweight-day-pack.html ?
It might be useful for sticking on other things if you need them (I know they make some MOLLE hydration things for example).
