  • That ZIPP is badass!

Is that little tube with the black thing on the end the mech braze on!?!?!?

    yup, front mech

  • That guy with loads of them.

The amount of stories I've head, of people having basements full of cannondale tracks is amazing

  • Classic white Flite saddles... are these easy to come by?? My limited UTFS skills come up with this current offering on ebay:
    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Selle-Italia-1998-Flite-titanium-rails-white-leather-saddle-/370965021305
(How much is that likely to go for??)

And this (trade?) site which I'm not familiar with:
    http://www.euroasiaimports.com/productcart/pc/Selle-Italia-Flite-Saddle-1297p7636.htm

..or any other pointers gratefully received. I'd be interested in acquiring an NOS or VGC if it's not hideously expensive. Bloody gorgeous thing.

Euro Asia Imports is EAI, who make the cogs, I think. Unless it's someone trading with their name I'd guess it was legit.

  • EAI site never deletes products, so on the one hand it's a handy archive of everything they have ever handled, but on the other it is not a guide to what they can currently obtain.

  • Thanks guys. Can't see much of a "buy now" option so I guess I'll keep my eye on t'bay.

  • Cheers boys, it's like all Christmas' came at once ;)!
Indeed it is that person, in fact a she and an amazing seller..
Cheers TM but looking for a Pearl as the Jag has too much drop atm just for street riding.. The Cinelli NJS stem currently on the 'Dale has a home destined elsewhere!
Will prob take a bitty to dial in then I can get a bit more bling :)!

    Tallish girl?

You need to go full SSP! Orig rims where these.

    Get crackin'!

  • Does anyone know of a decent 15 degree stem, besides thomson?
Also, saddles with a very low-profile (small saddle-rails distance)?

  • 3t.

  • Only 6° and 17°, if I'm not mistaken?

  • The GT is getting upgraded: I finally found a cheapish second-hand Sram Rival groupset and a pair of Shimano RS10

    From this:

    To this:

I'm really happy with the looks of it, and it seems lighter. I might just be cognitive bias though...

  • Wheres dat bag?

  • Are teh forks on back to front?

  • Wheres dat bag?

The saddle bag comes and go; I'm not particularly fond of it, but it's better than a rack imo, so it's off the bike whenever possible.

  • apart from the groupset it has to be said, it looked better before

  • Are teh forks on back to front?

Can't be with the mud guard eye lits being on the right side no?

  • Aye, must have been stickered up by a drunk French then...

Surely sram force would have better?

  • ^tings

  • Well this is annoying, got my rims like 5 weeks ago and still don't have spokes, i went to swap mine for longer ones to do 3 cross and they don't have any and can't get them until after Christmas, takes the fucking piss, and i already paid for the to.

  • Hi this is my last restoration, a peugeot PX10 with complete mafac/simplex gold group set. Frame is full reynolds 531, from around 1975 and a nice pair of mavic ssc rims laced on mavic 500 /550RD hubs.

  • such good work

More expensive too. This is meant to be my daily, so I don't think I need anything fancier.

  • but it would match the sticker

I never noticed the logo was the wrong way round actually. Probablement le travail d'un français saoul!
There are no eyelets on these forks. I made them and had to cut a hole at the top of the mudguards, just under fork crown because the clearance was too tight.

  • Lovely Gazelle!
