hey man, would be interested in the front wheel if you're willing to do a christmas split
-
• #8
Okay - pics folder updated to show freehub body now the cassette is off.
No trouble taking off cassettes.
It wouldn't make sense to split these, but I do have a Brand New front wheel for sale - a new XTR hub on a velocity aerohead rim built by me with DB spokes... 32h but very light, very well sealed & strong

bump for these. Cat is negotiable
FS: DT Swiss R1700 Road Wheels. (Not Tri-Con version) Shimano/Sram
Very stiff, plenty light and lovely smooth bearings... And they have the groovy star ratchet hub!
'Proper Pictures' coming but the wheels are the exact same as these:

^ Mine are completely de-sticked for a "wikked stealwth" look though.
Condition is used, but they are virtually unmarked with perfectly flat brake surfaces. Shimano Freehub body has the usual light marks common to every Alu bodied freehub. Easy to switch to campag should you wish (tool-less dis-assembly is neat)
Unlike many factory wheelsets, these are totally rebuildable - no silly proprietry spokes so they should last as long as Trigger's broom.
RRP was around 500 for the pair.
Asking £150 ono
