I don't see myself as cyclist. Find that quite offensive.

You'll always be a beautiful woman to me Kris

I don't see anyone in terms of fossil fuel powered or self powered transport, man, I'm powerblind, we're all just trying to get around on this rock, dude.

• #155
some of my best friends are cyclists

• #156
All cunts.

• #157
Except taxi drivers, they should all be lined up and shot, I hope you all agree with me, in fact you should all go and punch a taxi driver right now.

• #158
Don't tell my boss I said that.

I think if you banned from driving everyone who had ever expressed such an opinion in the heat of the moment, you'd end up banning a significant chunk of the driving population. Internet posturing does not equate to real life actions.
Edit to add - we're missing the point. I'd advocate having a reasonable, adult discussion with them to help them see it from the cyclists' perspective, and hope to soften their views. I just wouldn't go pursuing a petty vendetta.
So have you started this dialogue with Facebook guy or are you too busy arguing on here?

check, please

You can't be a safe driver, the poor visibility you must suffer from having your head so far up your own arse makes you thoroughly unsafe.

No, a two-year old post on Facebook didn't seem worth getting riled about.

If people get angry in the heat of the moment then that is more understandable. Going home and venting bile on the net is the opposite of this.
...
I'd advocate some people pursuing a vendetta that is not at all petty and others trying to have a reasonable, adult discussion with him despite all the evidence being that being adult or reasonable are beyond his skillset.Haha, you're on a wind up, surely?

The group was started 2 years ago, but the following was from December 13 2013 "its simple get cyclists insured and I will avoid knocking them off the stupid contraption when they stupidly ride in front of me
December 13 at 7:27pm" -

December 13 at 7:27pm"After some keyboard warrior went in and wound him up in an otherwise moribund FB group, yeah.
-
• #167
So not a 2 year old post as you claimed?
Will you now debate with him?
-
• #169
A two-year old group that one of our number thought it'd be funny to troll and then go running to teacher about when the target took the bait. Sterling work DJ, you're a real saint.

With the proviso that, if you felt the need to intervene, that would be the more constructive path to take. I didn't feel the need to intervene, not least because I knew that you'd be there to look after the eternal soul of everyone on the intarwebz.

He's actually calling out a different kind of cunt.

When did you stop beating your wife, Jeez?
