If people get angry in the heat of the moment then that is more understandable. Going home and venting bile on the net is the opposite of this.

I'd advocate some people pursuing a vendetta that is not at all petty and others trying to have a reasonable, adult discussion with him despite all the evidence being that being adult or reasonable are beyond his skillset.
