a firm, cool "No", then put her outside your room.
I say this already, but I don't put her out because I can't stand her meowing, not necessarily the high pitch sound, but the meows make me feel bad for ignoring her. Must try harder!! Cats are annoying little fuckers we just can't resist, ain't they?

Yeah, absolutely. A bit rowdier but nothing more. She wasn't even collared or chipped (Aside from strangling them with it, they always find a way to remove the collars) so it was a really happy shock she came back. Another did it for a few weeks too. Cats live off very familiar territory and don't stray as far as people think. If he's lost his way a bit, it'll take a while to regain his compass, but unless you've moved into a new place, they always find their way back.
When I was a kid, the one cat I had disappeared for a whole frikking year and still managed to come back, and this was in a country where cats were basically treated as pigeons.
In cats I trust. They're hardy bastards. Stay optimistic.Had you gotten a replacement cat by then already?

IMG_1242 by alexecrawford, on FlickrI have been joking with boyfriend since Patch has gained a fair bit of weight lately, it's time to roast her for Christmas... This confirms that roast cat for dinner might actually be an idea...

You never know, he might just be exploring the neighborhood a little further than usual. He will be back when he is done exploring.

Pierre is home! He's lost a good bit of weight so I'm assuming he was trapped somewhere and my leaflets prompted someone to check their shed or garage.

Not sure why she was kicking snow at it but if you're going to be a dick to a cat then you really need to expect retribution.
